To all our ocean freight importers: Please note that the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, along with other ports around the country, will be closed on Wednesday July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
In addition, all West Coast ports – including Los Angeles and Long Beach – will be closed on Thursday, July 5, as the International Longshore and Warehouse Union observes their annual “Bloody Thursday” work stoppage. No containers will be picked up from the ports on these two days.
The ports will resume normal operations on Friday, July 6.
