ALL domestic and foreign facilities that manufacture, process, pack or store food, beverages, food ingredients, pet foods or dietary supplements are required to renew their current registration with the FDA before January 31, 2013.
FDA has extended the deadline to accomplish this renewal until January 31. Any company who fails to do so will face the consequences of being in violation of the Food Safety Modernization Act.
We understand that new FDA registration numbers are being issued by FDA upon renewal. Without the correct and current FDA registration numbers, your shipments may be delayed by FDA at the time of entry. To avoid these unnecessary delays, please make sure that all your suppliers have renewed their FDA registrations and have provided the correct and current FDA registration numbers on their documentation.
