Refunds of CVD Cash Deposits on Shrimp Entries

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has been authorized by the U.S. Department of Commerce to grant pre-liquidation refunds of countervailing duty cash deposits on entries of certain frozen warm water shrimp from various countries such as China, India, Thailand and Vietnam. It was announced that importers may request refunds of the countervailing duty cash deposits by submitting a request in writing to the applicable port of entry.

We urge our importers to do this in order to get their refunds faster, otherwise, they will have to wait for at least 2 years before they can get their refunds. Importers may submit the letter to us and we can send it to the applicable port of entry on their behalf.
