Retroactive Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) Increase

U.S. Customs and Border Protection will begin billing for the Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) increase that was retroactively effective on October 1, 2011.  Customs did not begin accepting the new MPF rate until November 5 and will begin the retroactive billing process now.  Differences of less than $20.00 are considered de minimis and will not be billed.
